44 days.

Hey guys. I'm not in a very happy mood today. It's been a nice day so far but there is sooooo much going on! With just about 34 days left in this wonderful country,every place I didn't explore,every adventure left unfinished is getting sorted. I've also been a month at my new family. School is a lot of work and this month I swear,is the month of konfirmations,which is a church ceremony in which teenagers get done when they turn 14 years old. This shows the world that they are growing up now. Euro tour's coming and I don't know if I should be excited or sad. So here's my update.

New family.

My new family has Jens,Pernille,Caroline and Anne Sofie. Oh and Fnuller,their pet tortoise. Jens and Pernille are working parents and Caroline is my 18 year old elder sister who goes to Gammel Hellerup Gymnasium. Anne Sofie is 22 and stays in her own apartment in Nørrebro. She goes to University and works in an awesome place in the weekends.
They are very nice and funny people and I like talking to them a lot. Though I miss Christina and Kim and Oskar everyday,I still am happy to be in this family. I have my own room and share a bathroom with Caroline. We both live on the top floor of their huge house. It's really weird living in a house with so many stairs. It's just really big and staying alone out there isn't exactly my favourite thing to do. Though I'm in Emdrup again so I can bike to school and back everyday. Some excercise for my old legs :P
We all have a very nice tea and dessert session at night after dinner and we all watch some TV together. It's really cozy. They also have a little greenhouse and garden and Fnuller runs around in the greenhouse when it's above 20 degrees in there. In the weekends,he makes a lot of noise by hitting on the glass windows of his little glass box house if there is some sun and he isn't out in the greenhouse. It's quite adorable :)

School

Everyone in school is busy with exams and homework. There's loads of that -.- Lucky for me,there's hardly anything! :P Everyone is really sad about me leaving and have been filling up my red book with lovely thoughts about me :) It's really nice to read it! We also had Årsbal which was freaking awesome! We danced Lanciers and had food together and I GOT THE PRIZE FOR THE YEAR'S MEMBER OF K!!!!(let me explain..i'm in the K division and out of the entire class of 2K, I was the year's K member! :)) ) It was really nice! We also had a lot of speeches thanking everyone for their co-operation in the classes and all. It was seriously awesome. I gave a speech too! And Hilde and Katrine(My) almost cried. I swear. We girls really care about our Mascara. Dancing Lanciers was fun and kinda confusing. It's an awesome dance!! I'm gonna teach people in India!

Eurotour


I'm really really excited for Eurotour!It's gonna be awesome!!!! But I have just one week left in Denmark! :( Though 18 days without sleeping,in a bus full of awesome exchange students sounds freaking awesome! We also paid for Eurotour hoodies which mean we will get hoodies for the trip like a memory!More on Eurotour after I\m back from it! ;)

Mixed feeling? :S

Hey Guys! So much to say! Such less time :/ Now with just about 72 days left in this beautiful country, all the feelings that we ever felt or never had the courage to say are all just flowing out! Newbies are all in the country,ready to take our place once we're gone. Anyways,talking about newbies reminds me! I AM NEWBIE LESS D: Buut I have gotten close to some of them! There is a ridiculous amount from Australia though..

Taylor(from South Africa) is one of them I connect with the most. She is really awesome and likes Indian food like me! Natanahira a.k.a. Nay(from New Zealand) sings and plays the guitar and we've been jamming a bit! It's pretty awesome :) We'll be on youtube soon! He already has a youtube channel! CHECK HIM OUT! He's good :) For some nice bonding,me and Shania went out with Danica(from Australia),Nay,Jonty(From New Zealand) and Danica's host sister for a movie which was pretty damn awesome :)¨

We had a awesome school party which was the "Klasse Fest" in which the class decides what theme they want for theme! We chose "Hurtig" which means fast or speed and we had to be dressed as people who are speedy! So sports clothes,sunglasses,biking helmets,capes,etc etc ;) IT WAS PRETTY DAMN AWESOME ;)

There was also a Rotex event that we all went for. All the outbounds and the Inbounds! It was pretty damn awesome! We had to have a costume and I became a police woman! Just picked up the cheapest costume in the store and it was this one..buuuut it was pretty nice actually ;) I also fount out that there was this guy who was coming to Mumbai on exchange! :D Maybe he stays in my family? Maybe he's not? Either ways,THERE'S GONNA BE SOMEONE FROM MY BELOVED COPENHAGEN IN INDIA WHEN I'M BACK HOME. OH. MY. GOSH. Ahem, so yay. Pictures?

In the starting of March,we wnet to Lalandia in Rødby Færge which is like a water park. It was honestly the best g2g I've ever been in! I was in a room with oldies Jamie(USA),Manuella(Brasil),Javi(Argentina) and Laura(Paraguay) and Newbies Danica(Australia),Luz(Argentina) and Isabella(Australia).

We were over 200 exchange students in a waterpark. OMGGGGG!

It was really the awesomest place everrr! The aquadome is like soooo big! i couldn't take picures in there but yeah,just imagine HUGE SLIDES, FOUR POOLS,FLOAT BOAT GAMES. AWWWW YEAAAAH!

There was ice skating there too! I was gangam styling while ice skating :D It was pretty awesome ;) I've become pretty awesome at ice skating now :) it's pretty nice and it feels amazing! :D

We bascically just wenr swimming and ice skating and then at night we got chocolate wasted! we bought soooo many chcocolates and then had a little party in Emily's room! IT WAS EPIC. Too much chocolate and five pretty girls. Damn it was aweosme. We also had water shots and pretended to be drunk :P We had oreos so we put milk in wine glasses and acted pretty high class while doing it. Oh, how I love being an exchange student :D

In my last week of this lovely month,I went to Sweden with my school orchestra and choir! We went as a whole for four concerts that we were performing :D DEN BESTE FERIE NOGENSINDE! <3 Did I mention we went on a ferry ride on a boat!?

I made soooo many new friends and we had soo much fun! We met in the morning at like 8am with our bags and all and we left at 9 in two busses. IT WAS PRETTY DAMN AWESOME.

We had an 8 hour journey to Sweden and we had a boom box on the bus. AWESOME. It was a very long journey but we survived! I taught my friend Malte how to write in Hindi. So now he can write in Hindi if you tell him something and he can read too but he's a little bad at that. He wont understand Hindi but he's good at writing :) I'm so proud of him! :') I found out I'm with Jens Theodore(theo) and Frederikke(foodie) and Neils from choir. But Niels was sick so it was me,Foodie and Theo. IT WAS AWESOME! We had two bunk beds and a little table for two in our little room :) ADORABLEEE!

Our everyday schedule(for the first 4 days) included getting up and having a practice session untill our concert with a lunch break and a break when it got a little too much. Quite nice :) First we had one concert in a day at like 2pm and the next day two concerts at 2 and then 7 and then the next day one concert at like 7.
the first two days of the concert we just practiced and had food and then came back home and just hygge for sometime :) We partied every night! We had a little mutual kitchen next to our room and so we made Tea late at night and partied with that :D The day that we had the concert at 7,we met for breakfast,travelled to the school,put all the instruments in place and then went to the city to shop a little and get some lunch and well,get something packed for dinner :) I went out with Foodie,Theo,Camilla,Michele(pronounced Mikkel),Gustav,Daniel,other Daniel and Malte :) It was sorta my group for the trip! :) it was really cold out there and snowing too! And I was just standing like a kid with my tongue out! :P Silly little things makes being an exchanger so awesome! :D Anyways,we just basically hung out in the city the entire day! :) It was pretty damn awesome! :D We had a great time walking and freezing at the same time! ;)
But we did travel over the night and slept on the bus. That was honestly the best ride ever :D NIGHT RIDERS! xD

We went back home and I just went to sleep! And sleep and sleep! :P In the evening Mor,Far,Oskar,Gustav and me went to the Dance chappel to just see a show about hiphop and all :D It was freaking awesome! And we all just played some old house games! It was awesome :D Mor said a friend could come along so I asked Gustav coz everyone else was just like busy -.- Adn I definately didn't wanna be alone with mor coz I knew she would cry. Luckily with Gustav there,she didn't but that's just luck! ;) We did have a very heart to heart talk in the kitchen. Mor said "I don't have any keys to give you coz we have a code but still,here is an imaginary key. You know you have it and our door is open anytime of the day and night. We don't ever want you to leave our family and you know you have a family in Denmark that you can come to anytime. I love you a lot and you have to keep coming here in the middle!" Seriously,best danish mom ever. Mumma don't get jealous okay? I still love you a looooooooot! <3

Anyways,next morning after breakfast I did some quick last minute packing and then my next host dad came and picked me up! We said our See you later's coz this definately wasn't a goodbye and like Mor said,I'm never leaving the family :) Buuut coming back to the new family,they are absolutely awesome people! They are funny and nice to be with and have awesome personalities! :D In our first night,we ate some dinner and watched an Indian movie together called "Monsoon Wedding". And I was introduced to the pet tortoise! Fnuller! :D he's adorable and loves the sun! :D Caroline is my youngest host sister and she's 18,Anne Sofie who is 22 stays away from home in another suburb of Copenhagen,Jens is my host dad and Pernille is my host mum. My awesome new family :D

Well,nothing else is going on except that I'm reeeeeeeally excited for Årsbal(the school ball diretly translated into "Year's Ball") and Eurotour! In Årsbal we are gonna dance this thing called Lancier! And I'm learning! It sounds really tough and looks too but I'm gonna do fine..Errrmm..or I hope so? :S I'm gonna have Mor's galla dress on for årsbal and so it will be awesome! And by Mor I mean Christina :D SHE IS AWESOME! IT FITS ME :O

Ecuador meets Canada and India! :D

Okay,I had promised I'd write sooner but I had been soooo busy! :S
My weekend in Ribe was suppppeeeeeerrr awesommmmeeeeeee! :D :D We had too much fun! Just so that nobody is lost in what I'm talking about, Carlos(my awesome Ecuadorian friend) stays in Ribe and me and Emily/my super awesome Canadian friend)  went to visit him!

So I got to the train station(I walked the way because I juuuuuust missed the bus -.- only to realise I for got my tickets at home. Called up Mor and she kinda came with the car to gimme my ticket -.- SO. EMBARRASSING. Anyways,me and Emily came and got on the train which was THREE HOURS! :O

After three long ours we met Carlos and after two loooooooooong hugs,we went and peed in this nice place and went and bought tickets for the tickets to go to his town. On the way,we met his friends at the bus stop. They were waiting for their bus to come so they could go to their towns.We talked for a bit and then went to the train only to realise that it broke down and was also running late. This resulted in us missing out bus to home from Ribe station to home. So we decided to walk and it took 30 minutes -.-

On the way Carlos told us a loooooot of things including that his parents arent danish and dont speak danish. We believed him only to realise he was just joking.Yeah,that was pretty embarassing.
We finished food with cooollaaaaaa :D :D And then watched a horrible scary movie after which I went off to sleep and they drew on my face -.- I NOTICED NEXT MORNING.

Wonderful Saturday :))

Me and Emily got up and she showed me the drawing on my face. RIDICULOUS. ANd we went to jump on Carlos and wake him up but he woke up coz he heard us laughing -.- So we just get ready and had breakfast. THERE WAS NUTELLA. All three of us exchange students leaped for it! It was hilarious!
After that,me and Carlos' mom going and getting some stuff for the chicken curry. We bought some buns and the stuff and went back. I'm gonna hurry up now.. coz I'm getting a bit late..
Me and Carlos and Em biking around the city of Ribe-Emily falling in love with the antique city-seeing the dom kirke in Ribe and climbing up almost 300 strps to reach the top where you can see the entire city-easting some lovely sausages in the bøffen followed by some coffee,tea and irish coffee-finding a very mysterious pink and yellow chair in the middle of the shopping street-playing with the swans in a little garden-clicking a looooot of pictures-biking back home during which we had a couple of races-making the chicken once we got home-eating chicken and drinking cola-playing UNO and then just lying on the bed and talking followed by some serious ZzzzzzzzZ

Tired Sunday :SS

We left with Carlos' dad to the city of Esbjerg and spent time there before going to the train station. We took pictures with this biiiiiig statue of four white men and it was raining veeeeery heavily. We went to this little bridge and clicked some more pictures and then left the bags in his dad's car which was parked at his work.
We ran and sat in a cafe and drank some lovely hot chocolate and clicked more pictures. We basically just spent time playing stupid games like guess who and played songs from  a jutebox in a bar we went into later. Cola,nice music,and good friends are the best thing ever :)
When it was time,we went to Carlos' dad's work and he showed us around the police station :) It was really cool that his dad was a police officer. We walked back to Esbjerg station after saying goodbye to his dad and clicked pictures in this machine which was pretty damn cool  ;)
We saw that our train was on the platform and so we went in and sat down after our looooooong hugs and goodbyes :') We had an awesome weekend and this was definately something we'd remember :)

Next post will be about my weekend in Lalandia. An amusement park in Rødby Færge where we have a g2g with the newbies :) It's gonna be epicc!

Só Hoje :)

I haven't had an awesome week actually.. It was Milo's birthday and language school but it was still really not good. One of my very good friends got sent back home..and thats the reason I was sad for more than five days. But not any more on that coz everyone that needs to know what happened knows.

The happy news is that we have got news for our eurotour! :D We are ALL so excited! I'm gonna be with all my good friends(everyone you have heard of yet) and its gonna be super awesome! We already made a group on fb about it and are planning to get jackets or hoodies made for our bus(we are a huge group of 200+ exchangers and so we are divided into three buses) and we also have this CRAZY points game going on! It's something like getting points for every crazy thing you do ON EUROTOUR. So everyone is really excited! :D We don't really know how many poeple will actually do these things butits gonna be a HELL LOT OF FUN.

PABLOS THE IGNACIOS ;)

The next thing is PAAAABLO! :D I went to his house one day and had food with him and his family :) IT WAS AWESOME! Pablo,Siri(sister),Renato(dad),Kristian(Siri's boyfriend) and me the wonderful empanadas that me and pablo and Siri made :)) Jette(mom) came home from work late so she didn't eat with us but she was also enjoying the food after :) I slept over at Pablo's and left with him next morning to go to his school coz I had FREEE CLASSES IN THE MORNING :D :D :D And he was changing schools coz his classmates are supermean to him and even after 5 months he feels really uncomfortable around them.  This really sucks! I think I'm one of the few exchange students who have not have any problems with their class. More on this later.. Anyways,Pablo had a HUGE pile of books he had to return to his school and say goodbye to this ONE girl out of his entire class that he actually liked :/ This sucks. That was the thing what we did before I left.

Something more that I did was meet the new exchanger from Colombia who arrived about a month or two after I did. Priscilla had come over the weekend and we were doing crazy stuff including GOING TO ABERCHROME AND FITCH!!! Yes all you beautiful people out there..me and Priscilla lived the dream :P BOOOO YEAAAAAAAHHH!!! Ahem.. So,we went with Sebastian to Christania and just sat there for a while after running out to get a hot choclate from hot chocolate coz it was too freaking cold! :/

The next day we had an Indian dinner organised and Alex(mor's best friend Heidi's son) and Emily were coming. That was well,AWESOME. AND SUPER DELICIOUS. And now,for some latest news :)
 Me and Emily  are going to meet Carlos in his home town! :D WE ARE GOING ICE SKAAAAAAAATING!!!!!! :D :D :D I'M FREAKING OUT!!! AAAAAAAAHHHHH!! We travel to Esbjerg and have some fuuuuuuun! :D We went to see if we could change our tickets to a little later coz we messed up but that wasn't possible and all.. Anyways, while coming back from the ticket place to home(it was at Nørreport so I just had to take the bus) I saw the bus and I ran for it! AND FELL DOWN ON MY FACE. I bruised my hand and leg and MINORLY sprained my leg but you know how it is with me and sprains. Meh.

I got home and saw that Oscar was home(:D!) and sick ( boo hoo! D:). He went with Mor to a school meeting and came back the next day(he went to his dad's for the night) with a SWOLLEN FOOT. Boys.-.-  Anyways,school is going fine..my class is the best! .) And this brings me back to the topic I left before. Danes and Friendship. They seem very cold and mean at first if you havent talked to them. I guess all the countries have something like this. I notice this in India too. My class was very nice to me from the start and are still :) AND THEY ARE AMAZING. Here's a picture of my class:

Anyways,the rest is all fine :) I'M FREAKING OUT ON ICE SKATING! I really want to be a pro before I'm back in India :) I have gone soooo many times and that's become my new way of hanging out with people :) It's really awesome! :D

Nykobing and a busy week! :)

The past few days have been almost compeletly rain,wet and cold. Its the part of the season when it gets warmer in terms of degrees and then suddenly drops to minus degrees again. its dreadful and horrible but the best part is the "hygge" time with hot chocolate :)

These past few days have been weird and awesome at the same time. Nothing specific happened except that  two of our oldies returned home on between 8th Jan and now. I went to the airport to see them off and that got me thinking about when I'm gonna be there and my friends are gonna be there to see me off like that. Fear,tension,and all kind of feelings rushing through me. I could imagine what they went through and that it was sad but the best part was to see how well they've done in their exchange year. Formed unbreakable bonds with people who were totally unknown to them a year back. They had some experiences we learn from and some things that we try to accomplish. So much informatuon.  Sigh.. Well,goodbye's a long time from now so it was okay :) and I eventually got over that and wasn't sad but just philosophical.

Not much had been going on the past few days but it was a terribly bustý week.. Last friday,me,Emily,Mor,Papa and Jens went to our summerhouse in Nykobing. For those of you who don't know,Emily is my exchange student friend from Canada who,over this short trip,has gotton closer to me than ever. We had some moments of sadness and fear and some filled with happiness and hot chocolate(OF COURSE IT'S A FEELING!!!!) She is really a bundle of joy and there is not a single time when you're with her that you don't have fun! SHe can make you laugh and the amount of adorable in her is amazing. NO,I'M NOT KIDDING. I love that girl. SO much.
Jens,on the other hand,is Papa's friend and came with us due to a very amusing talk last night :) Mor was talking on the phone and convincing him to come with us as it would be fun and awesome to have him with us! So while she was talking to him,she told me to convince him so I took the phone and talking to him for like 10 minutes convincing him and due to my great abilities,he came with us. ;)

So just for a quick review,in the summerhouse we basically reached home,went to the sauna after settling down a bit,had dinner,slept whilst me and Em watched some serious How I met Your Mother and fell asleep somewhere in the middle :P We got up and had some awesome breakfast,went out in the car for a walk near the forest and beach which was awesome! We wrote things in the sand and picked shells and all and had soooo much fun! P.S. It was so cold coz we were near the sea! It was skin piercing! :/ we got back home and had some chocolate and watched some movies and then just went into the sauna again!This one was hot. Like burning hot. If you wanted to blow some air on yourself,it was like FIRE.

So well,after that we went out in our right clothes and walked around the house in the cold..without ANY warm clothes. I had a really REALLY long shirt on and Emily had a spagetti top and shorts. TRUST ME IT FELT AWESOME. After that we had some lovely dinner and spent the rest of the night talking,watching The Crazies,and How I Met Your Mother again :)

January's first seven days! :)

Hey gutter!(gutter in danish means group so don't feel offended my lovely Indians :D)
Just FYI i'm using my mom's MacBook Air which is SO DAMN COOL!Ahem..

2013 is turning out to be a whole new year with awesome experiences! :D I've met new people,done new things, ate new types of food(excuse my english,it's becoming worse and worse! :S I might start writing in danish!),and experienced so much crazy stuff!
Some of them go like this:

Ice-skating: I went ice skating two times in Denmark in my first week! Once with just Milo in Hellerup Is Skøjte Ring and then in Gentofte Is Skøjte Hal with Milo,Emily and Audrey! Emily is canadian but can't ice skate so Milo and Audrey and me were teaching her :) And as for me,I'm not pro but I can ice skate! In Gentofte I could do three rounds without falling! In fact I didn't fall at all during the Gentofte time! :D I'm so proud of myself for that! :) But druing my first time I fell within the first 15 minutes. -_- Yeah,that was painful. Horse-back riding: My awesome host family has two horses in some stables out in the country or just far away from home :) they are called Salomo and Obelix :) Both are arabian horses and cost a HELL lot of money. Obelix is the naughtier one who wants to mess around and won't understand if you're a beginner or such whereas Salomo will be patient and understanding and will give you a secure feeling :) But both those horses are adorable <3 We rode around the forest a bit and also ran a bit! :) Me,mormor and Momma :) IT WAS AMAAAZING! Swimming with class: Today(7th Jan) I went  swimming with my class :) All our classes were cancelled and only gym was there and we were going swimming :) It was sooooo much fun! I got allergic and had to sit for a bit and I sucked at it but it was really nice :) We played a bit in the pool and then went to a warmer pool and then Sauna for like 10 minutes :) SOOO REFRESHING :D I love my class so much <3

My first starbucks: One day me,Emily,Milo and Audrey went all the way to the airport to get starbucks for us! It was awesomeeeeeee!! We all had a lot of fun! Phew! I've been like typing for so long now! :/

Exchange <3 Get a chance? Grab it like it's water and you haven't drank water since like 4 months! All the beautiful people you meet and all the things you do is just amazing! I never imagined that I would get a chance to learn how to do ice skating and horse back riding and learn this beautiful language of Denmark ever! And these are all just the first things! Who knows what else I'll do! :)

Love Denmark! <3 If anyone is coming here,a little heads up..It's FREAKING COLD. It can get down to minus degrees so come stalked with warm colds and gloves and a scarf is a much :)

P.S. Day before yes day I was kinda missing home and I think Mor saw that and surprised me by making some butter chicken secretly for me! HOW SWEET IS THAT! <3 *_* Love her so much! I've grown closer to her than anyone else on this exchange :) She's always fun of energy,fun-loving,cooks awesome food(after every meal I'm like," STAPPPH! DU MÅ IKKE LAVER SÅ LÅKKERT MAD! MIN MÅVE SKAL SPRINGE NU!" And she just laughs at me! :D It's so much fun! And Papa is adorable too! He has a salon downstairs and I help him out by cleaning the place when it gets dirty and also give him some stuff that he needs like making his customers coffee,talking to them sothey aren't bored,etc,etc! :) I'm so happy to be here! CHRISTMAAAAAAAAAS!!! :D

It's almost magical or something! My class's jul frokost( translated christmas dinner) was awesome! It was full of red wine and drinking games and yummy food :) YAAAAY! So let me educate you guys a little bit about christmas in Denmark :)

2.People have VERY YUMMY special food for the christmas time.. they make special cakes(actually cookies but it's called cakes in Denmark) for every day untill christmas :) And mostly with the "Christmas spice" which is cinamon :)
So here are the delicious cakes :D

3.The standard food for a christmas dinner will be:

Brun kartofler(potatoes glazed with sugar syrup)

Fleskestej( pork meat with a crisy top)

Rødkål salat( sweet red cabbage salad)

Glögg(warm red wine) 

These you will definately find in a christmas dinner in Denmark :D

This is how I looked in my jul frokost :

Papa made my hair and it was awesomeeeeee!!! :D

Anyways! I got a lot of gifs for christmas including a scrap book,glitter pens,a nice jacket and a red dress! :D

On christmas day this is what I looked like(the dress is the one papagifted me and he curled my hair too):

So this is all for now! :D I had a very nice time and I think I should start celebrating proper christmas in India too! :D
